Curtains down on today's first game. There's one more PSL game lined up today - I0$ - which promises to be a cracking encounter. See you there.

B0$ Honestly, we didn't read the pitch correctly. It was a slow deck and 174 turned out to be a good total. Hasan and Shamyl batted with great maturity, which was exactly what was required. They maintained the run-rate as well. And then, the way Tom Curran finished gave us the momentum which we carried into our bowling. We knew that it'll be tough to chase if they lose 2-3 wickets in the powerplay. It feels good when we execute our plans.

B0$ I think probably both games, we've lost two or three wickets in the powerplay. That really stems the flow of runs. But the two guys in there, Maaz and Saim, they're great players, so we know they're going to come good. And when that comes on, we're all going to jump on the back of that momentum. Then probably the other two phases is the back end. Through the middle, we've been really good so far. I think Theekshana was really good today and brought the pressure back on to them through the middle. It's probably just our finishing. Last two overs went for 28, so just working out our options and making sure we're getting them right at the back end. But a lot to work on and the only way is up. (On the fielding) I, myself, dropped a sitter. We're training really well, guys are putting in the effort and the results will come off the back of that.

B0$ (On becoming the first Pakistani to score back-to-back fifites in the first two PSL outings) Yeah, it does feel good. Obviously didn't think of it. I'm just trying to play the ball, play the ball on the merit and try to do good for my team. Well, you can't really pre-plan going after the bowler on the first ball. Well, today when we lost wickets, me and Hasan, we were just talking that we need to lengthen the innings, we need to take safe risks and we need to pick our bowlers. (On his partnership with Hasan Nawaz) Yeah, it was really good, we really need Hassan there, and we all know he's such a great batsman. Me and him, we've played a lot of cricket together in Islamabad, so it was good to be out here on the big stage. (On his celebrations after taking catches) That's just adrenaline going through, can't say too much about that.

In the end, it was a convincing win for the B0$, marking their first victory of the season. The B1$ never looked truly settled in the chase, as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. The pitch slowed down drastically, making shot-making difficult in the second innings. While B2$ and B3$ put up a spirited fight, the required run rate continued to climb, and they were unable to find the boundaries needed to stay in the hunt. B4$ was his usual clinical self, containing the batters and finishing with impressive figures of B5$. B6$ also used his variations effectively, mixing his pace to account for two key wickets. For Hyderabad, this marks their second consecutive loss; they will need to address their bowling discipline and fielding, which remained below par tonight. Join us shortly for the post-match presentation.
